In a new contemporary dance work by Katie Adams-Gossage, soloist Frédérique Perron carves into her own calcified edges, unearthing the sculptural materiality of the body. Tethered, drenched, gutted.

More about the show and company

Katie Adams-Gossage (she/her) is a dance artist from Montreal, currently creating in Toronto. She conceptualizes her work as visual art that employs physicality as its medium, blurring conceptions of form. It probes the interstitial, contingent, and sensitive nature of the fleeting moment, leaning into the tender spaces between movement and stability, the visual and the embodied, permanence and ephemerality.
