Runtime
50 minutes

A new adaptation of Margery Williams’ classic children’s story with live original music, choreography, and shadow puppetry! We follow the journey of The Velveteen Rabbit - a curious toy who wants nothing more than to become ‘real.’ In other words, to be truly loved by the child that takes care of you. On the way, we meet outlandish characters, deal with major toy-world crises, sing, dance, and most importantly, have fun. Bring your own stuffed animal for a chance to be featured in the show! Suitable for five year olds, nostalgic adults, and everyone in between.

Audience participation details

We encourage our audience members to bring their own favourite stuffed animal to the show. Please arrive early, as there is the option to fill out cue cards: on one side, write the name of your stuffed animal, and on the other side, write one of your favourite memories with them. We collect these cue cards, and during a special part of the show, weave your stories into ours...
