More about the show and company
Created by South Asian writers, this show brings bold stories to the stage that challenge mainstream media’s narrow representations. By showcasing a South Asian character in an unconventional role, we aim to break boundaries and redefine the narratives typically told about our community.
Land acknowledgement
We acknowledge that the theatre play is being performed on the traditional land of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, and Wendat Nations, now home to many diverse communities, including the Métis and Inuit peoples. We recognize the historical significance of this land and its ongoing connection to the Indigenous peoples of this area. As we present our work in the Distillery District of Toronto, we honour the rich cultural heritage and diverse voices that shape this community.
