WHAT IF FEMALE PLEASURE SPARKED A REVOLUTION?
In 2035, as fascism grips humanity, an underground movement offers hope: Plan V. This satirical comedy follows Mama V's secret gathering where stories of trauma and triumph create a spiritual revolution honoring female pleasure as the antidote to shame. Eleanor O'Brien embodies a dozen distinct characters—from a Southern spiritual leader to a Scottish cunnilingus enthusiast—in this utopian fallopian fantasy. When government censors interrupt, the movement faces its greatest test. Part sex-positive revival, part dystopian warning, Plan V transforms reverence into revolution.

Sensory description

Plan V: The Rise of Reverence is a solo performance set in the year 2035. It is a satirical (humorous but thoughtful) story about a future where joy, pleasure, and free expression are considered acts of rebellion.
The story follows Mama V, a bold and charismatic southern woman who leads a secret underground gathering. In this future, certain words and ideas are being censored by the government—especially those related to women’s bodies and sexuality. But Mama V and her followers refuse to stay silent. Together, they share personal stories about freedom, pleasure, and learning, all while staying hidden from the authorities.
This is a multimedia theatre show, meaning it uses video, sound, and digital elements. The performer, Eleanor O’Brien, plays Mama V and also interacts with virtual characters who appear on screen. These characters join the story using a fictional video platform called “Zype.” This creates the feeling of a larger cast while still being a one-woman show.
The tone of the show mixes comedy with serious ideas. There are moments of celebration, empowerment, and resistance. There are some alarm sounds and heightened emotions. There is singing. It can be enjoyed by the blind or vision impaired. For dead patrons we will provide a script.
