Runtime
60 minutes

If a balloon pops in the middle of a birthday party and all the kids are in the bouncy castle, are you even a gay Jew? Through dance, music, twerking and complaining, this solo show explores the current culture of identity politics and our contentious relationship between individuality and belonging. Together we will contemplate, pontificate and flatulate on the many ways identity can unite us and isolate us.

Audience participation details

Audience participation in this show may include having your horoscope read (made up) to the rest of the audience, asking you how you identify and then probably not letting you answer, and risk of some booty near/around audiences faces during a twerking sequence.

Sensory description

The show is highly sensory. The set is primarily made up of balloons, which are often popped, blown up and deflated. There is music, dance, lip synching and movement. Given that the show has equal parts movement and dialogue, there are many moments to be enjoyed by those who are both impaired by vision or hearing.
