An encounter in a Paris cemetery between the ghost of the great actress Sarah Bernhardt and a distraught young Canadian musician leads to a passionate debate about art, fame and success in a world now dominated by social media. Sarah’s fellow ghosts round out the cast in this play imbued with dark humour, magic and suspense.

Sensory description
The lights are shadowy to suggest a cemetery at night. At one point, there is a coloured spotlight that grows in brightness. Sound effects include gonging sounds, bells and chimes, and a cell phone ringing incessantly.
The actors do move, but the show is primarily dialogue driven. Two actors are dressed in late-19th century garb. The colour palette is muted to appears ghostlike. Another actress is dressed in modern day clothes and bright colours.
