More about the show and company

Tamar is a comedian, improviser, singer-songwriter, writer, actor and banana bread fan who lives in London with her Canadian husband and their 11-month old baby.

Tamar has written five solo comedy shows, of which Get Ugly was nominated for Best Comedy at Fringeworld and Best Life transferred to the SoHo Playhouse in New York and was developed into a pilot with Fiction Valley (Fremantle NL).

Tamar is the only British woman to have worked as a main stage cast member at the renowned US improv theatre Boom Chicago, where she performed long-form, short-form and musical improv five nights a week.

Tamar has written and performed songs on BBC Radio 4's The Now Show and Fresh From the Fringe, and has written sketches for Sketchtopia. She wrote the book for Club Mex, co-written with John-Victor and produced by Global Musicals (Six). She won the Stiles & Drewe Best New Song Award.

In the corporate world, Tamar is a popular event host and has hosted many large-scale events, including the Nordic Business Forum, with special guest George Clooney. She leads workshops in public speaking, team building, creative communication and more.

The show is comprised of storytelling and songs throughout. Tamar will sing and play live, original music on vocals and the piano.
