More about the show and company

Midtwenties Theatre seeks to produce plays by midtwenties artists today who find themselves marginalised between classifications, and emerging-established identities. Whether that be through race, ethnicity, class, sexuality, or politics - Midtwenties aims to provide a space for these complex voices that do not fit in anywhere to speak truthfully, proudly, and without compromise through diverse forms of artistic expression that push the boundaries of what is otherwise familiar to the mainstream.

Land acknowledgement

Midtwenties Theatre acknowledge and are thankful for the original caretakers and knowledge keepers of the traditional territory where we work: the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples. We acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit, and we are grateful for the opportunity to continue the traditions of storytelling and artistry alongside these nations and the many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples who reside here.
