But how do you like outright say, “YEAH I’m done with the date, GOODBYE!”

Everybody has that one memorable first date story either good, bad, or likely really bad.
Part stand-up, part verbatim theatre, Unmatched is created from interviews of real first date stories. Follow comedian Drew as they turn their wild dating history into a comedy so that at least something good comes out of it all.

Based on true events. (Because this is too wild to make up).

“Simultaneously funny, sad, and familiar. Unmatched ... makes use of sophisticated theatrical storytelling... ” - Apt613

More about the company

Levity Theatre Co. is a queer non-binary and woman led company in Ottawa created by emerging artists Eve Beauchamp and Caity Smyck. Together they tackle difficult subjects and experiences through devised and scripted creations all while maintaining a required dose of levity.

Land acknowledgement

Levity Theatre Co. operates and performs on the unceded and unsurrendered territory of the Algonquin Anishinabeg. We would also like to acknowledge the privilege we have to perform on the traditional territory of Tee caw roon toe(Tkaronto), "the gathering place" - we acknowledge the original caretakers of this land, the Anishinaabe, including the Mississaugas of Credit, hoe-dee-no-SHOW-nee (Haudenosaunee), and wendat (Wyndat) nations. We are guests on this land and we acknowledge the importance of working towards dismantling colonialism both in and outside the arts. We are grateful to be able to play and create here on Turtle Island.
