I know what you're thinking, but don't worry- The Chels Stands Alone isn't your typical one woman show, we promise!
Comedian Chelsea Larkin (Just For Laughs, Second City) guides you through a hilarious and relatable journey of characters, songs and wild true stories, inspired by her own real life mission to accept herself as she is (or at least pretend she does).
Directed by Stacey McGunnigle (This Hour Has 22 Minutes, Second City), The Chels Stands Alone begs the question: what happens when a sweet, funny, pushover speaks her mind for the first time, and it's on stage?

Sensory description

Very minimal movement and lights and costumes, as it is a solo show. Blind people could enjoy it because it is mostly talking and singing, whereas deaf patrons would have trouble because there is not enough visual aspects to tell the story of the show, and there are several music tracks and one sketch with sound effects,.
