Sky Gilbert writes and directs Cheri based on the novels of Colette. The play is about Lea (Theresa Tova), an aging ex-courtesan performing a musical based on her life story. The lady becomes distracted by her pianist (Dustin Peters), who reminds her of her lover from many years ago — Cheri. The play deals with issues of aging and the true nature of love.
