About the Next Stage Community Booster

What is a Community Booster?

In place of the 14th annual Next Stage Theatre Festival, Toronto Fringe wanted to create something to lift the spirits of our indie theatre community. The Next Stage Community Booster is a four-day event that will be a boost of energy, ideas, creativity, and friendship for those enduring an isolated pandemic winter.

The event will feature digital performances from acclaimed indie artists, livestreamed conversations on urgent topics, online workshops that focus on mental health and self-care, and more.

Find all programming listings in the Community Booster brochure by clicking here.

When and where will the Community Booster happen?

The event will take place from January 21 – 24, 2021. Digital content will be available to stream until January 31, 2021

It will take place online right here at fringetoronto.com, as well as Zoom and Facebook live. Check out the brochure here for full listings.
