Factory Theatre - Antechamber
Factory Theatre has been a staple of the Toronto independent theatre scene since it's opening in 1983. It is actually two heritage buildings: a house built in 1869 by Irish immigrant John Mulvey, and an extension built on to the house by St. Mary's Catholic Parish in 1910.
Factory has been a Fringe venue since 2000, and has been the home of Next Stage since its inception in 2008. It houses two main venues: the Mainspace and the Studio. The Antechamber is also used for Next Stage.
