Congratulations to Rare, the winner of the Ed Mirvish Award for Entrepreneurship!

This $2,500 award, created by David Mirvish in honour of his father, recognizes the entrepreneurship of our independent artists. Mirvish Productions knows the power of the Fringe, having remounted three particularly famous productions over the past 15 years – The Drowsy Chaperone, ‘da Kink in My Hair and My Mother’s Lesbian Jewish Wiccan Wedding. The Ed Mirvish Award is claimed by the mainstage Fringe company that sells the highest proportion of its available seats. This award is a celebration of the hard work, innovation and creativity that goes into making a Fringe show a success.

Congratulations to this year’s winner: DIVERSE CREATIONS for their outstanding production of RARE!
